Back to St Cath's Day 2023

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday for our Back to St Cath’s Day! This is an annual event where we invite our vibrant alumni community and their families back to school. It is always so wonderful to see Old Girls from across the decades come back to school for a gorgeous afternoon. A big thank you to our 2024 Prefects for acting as ushers on the day and our junior school students who graciously lent us their artwork for a gallery display. The afternoon started with catch-ups and canapes before everyone headed off for a tour of the PAC and the boarding house. As many of our older alumni were boarders, it was especially nice to hear from them about how much boarding has changed over the years. They were very impressed that our boarders now sleep in single rooms, rather than the veranda dormitories that our 1960s alumni remember. Our younger alumni families also enjoyed games on the lawn and in the JKSC with their children. It was a wonderful day celebrating connections, old and new, and a very special experience to have everyone join us back on our school grounds. |
